Trauma informed psychotherapy, EMDR and tailored support
in Knutsford, Anglesey and online.
Alongside founding Stable Minds, I continue to work privately with individuals looking for a more personal, flexible and deeply human therapeutic approach.
Therapy with me is never one size fits all. Some sessions may take place in a calm therapy room, others walking side by side outdoors. The work always shapes itself around the individual and what feels safest and most supportive for them.
I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely safe, understood and able to show up exactly as they are.
My approach is trauma informed, relational and tailored around the individual. Some clients come to process trauma and difficult life experiences. Others arrive feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, emotionally stuck or simply disconnected from themselves.
Together, we create a space that feels safe enough to explore what is going on underneath the surface, without judgement, pressure or needing to perform.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), an evidence based therapy often used to support trauma and distressing life experiences. I also work integratively, adapting the therapeutic approach around the individual rather than forcing people into a rigid process.
I work across two locations throughout the week — Knutsford in Cheshire and Anglesey in North Wales — which allows me to offer support across both areas depending on where clients are based.
Sessions are available in Knutsford and surrounding areas, as well as Anglesey, Holyhead and surrounding North Wales locations.
Alongside therapy room based work, I also offer walk and talk sessions and, where appropriate, animal assisted support as part of the therapeutic process.
My approach has always been flexible because no two people experience life, stress or healing in the same way. Some sessions are reflective and exploratory, whilst others are more structured and focused.
Therapy should adapt around the person, not force the person to adapt around therapy.

I am a psychotherapist, Founder and CEO of Stable Minds CIC — an award winning mental health organisation supporting children, young people and adults across the community.
Alongside leading Stable Minds, I continue to work therapeutically because staying connected to the human side of the work matters deeply to me.
People often describe my approach as warm, grounded and genuine. I believe some of the most important therapeutic work happens when someone feels truly seen, heard and accepted without needing to mask or hold everything together.
I was never going to be a textbook therapist, and honestly, I think that's part of why people feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room.
Alongside private therapy, Milly also delivers work that sits at the intersection of mental health, leadership and community — including public speaking, workshops, school and community talks, and consultancy within high pressure environments including sport.
Much of this work centres around trauma informed practice, emotional resilience, nervous system regulation and psychologically safe environments.
